Data Deletion & Account Removal
Delete your account (recommended)
- Sign in to Visual Lexicon.
- Go to
https://www.visuallexicon.org/account. - Click “Delete my account & data” and confirm.
Deletion usually completes immediately. You’ll be signed out when the request is received.
Request deletion by email (alternative)
If you can’t access your account, email support@visuallexicon.org and include the email you used to sign up and the confirmation phrase below.

To: support@visuallexicon.org Subject: Account & Data Deletion Request Hello, Please delete my Visual Lexicon account and all related data. Registered email: __________ I confirm I want all data erased. Thank you.
What we delete
- Your account profile.
- Vocabulary history, saved lists, and session data.
- App tokens and active sessions.
Legal exceptions & backups
- Purchase/tax records: We may retain payment records as required by law. Where possible, we de-link them from your account.
- Backups: Your data may remain in encrypted rolling backups for up to 30 days and cannot be restored for individual users.
After deletion
You’ll receive a confirmation email when the deletion is finished (within 3 business days at the latest). If you sign in again later, a new account may be created.
If you used a third-party login (e.g., Google or Facebook), you can also disconnect Visual Lexicon from that provider’s settings. This does not delete your Visual Lexicon data—use the steps above to do that.
